LTO Tracker Thermals, RX-2800 Rangefinder & Pro Guide Series From Leupold — SHOT Show 2018

Leupold is an obvious class leader in rifle scopes, with a full line across every budget and purpose. With that kind of DNA in the system, it only makes sense that they have expanded the lines to cover every other optical need of the hunter and soldier. There are some exciting additions this year, and you are going to like them.

LTO Tracker

First up is the LTO Tracker. The LTO from last year was the first thermal optic in the Leupold family, and it was a stunning success. This year, the LTO is upgraded with the addition of the LTO Tracker. The Tracker features a bit more reach with all the same cool features of the LTO, including multiple color displays. This handheld model was meant to be a recover tool for hunting, and should do the job very well. The new model retails for a bit more than the original but still won’t break the bank at $909.99.

RX-2800

Rangefinders have changed a lot in the last year, and Leupold is stepping up in that arena as well. The new models are smaller, stronger, and built for whatever sporting needs you have. Leading the pack is the new RX-2800, with the power to range at 2800 yards. Just a few years ago, that would have been military needs only, and for mortars or artillery. The rifle game has changed though, and Leupold is changing with it. The MSRP for the RX-2800 is $650.

Pro Guide Series

Last but certainly not least, Leupold is also a strong contender in the binoculars arena. New this year, the Pro Guide Series. Using HD glass, the new line reaches into 10 and 12 power, perfect for Western hunters. If you don’t need quite so much reach, there is also an 8X model available.
